Medical Outpatient
The Medical Outpatient Department at Culpeper Regional Hospital (CRH) offers a relaxed and comfortable setting for patients to receive various types of treatments as an outpatient rather than being hospitalized. Staffing is provided by registered nurses who administer and supervise your treatment at all times. Flexible scheduling is offered.
The Medical Outpatient office is conveniently located within CRH near the Emergency and Admitting entrance. Our services include, but are not limited to:
Administration of:
- Blood and blood products.
- IV solutions.
- Antibiotics.
- Remicade.
- Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIG).
- Iron/iron products.
- IV Solumedrol.
- IV Reclast.
- IV Boniva.
- Subcutaneous/IM injections.
Central line access, flushing, and dressing changes for:
- PICC lines.
- Hickman catheters.
- Groshong catheters.
- Mediports.
